About Me

I've been teaching writing and helping writers meet their goals for almost twenty years.  My mission is not to change your writing, but to make it the best it can be.

Since its inception in 1996, I have served as Program Coordinator for the annual Blue Ridge Writers' Conference in north Georgia.

I've been published in a variety of journals and reviews including the Southern Humanities Review, the Concho River Review, the Journal of Kentucky Studies, and others.

I graduated from Baylor University as a journalism and English major.  I've worked in public relations, adult education, and non profit agencies, helping them produce newsletters and other communication tools to get their message to the public.

I love working with writers, and I look forward to reading your work.
